ABOUT ME
"Photography is an art which can be done in several ways to enhance the beauty and charm of the events. It must be accurate and perfectly shot to capture the emotions and moments which cannot be expressed by words but can be felt by pictures and snaps. We preserve the important events and people in our lives.” (anon)
I have always had a passion for photography since I was given a SLR camera for my 21st birthday by my parents. I have shot wildlife (with a camera of course!) and Landscapes but my real love is taking photos of people. The emotions and feelings that words can't always describe that you can capture in a photograph for me are just the most satisfying.
The quote above sums up why I have a passion for taking photos of people. So you can look back in years to come and reminisce over special days and moments. To show your children and your grandchildren and share your memories of the event and the people who were there.
I have been capturing images for many years. My children and family got a bit fed up of me always having a camera at hand. " Ok dad that’s enough now put the camera away", was a common saying with my children!
I now have three young grandchildren who as soon as I take my camera out start saying “cheese”.
I have been asked by friends and family to shoot weddings, christenings, parties and night club events. I was often told, when as a guest, I took photos at friends weddings they preferred mine to the official photographer. Then friends of friends started seeing my work and so it has snowballed.
So I decided to turn that passion into a profession.
I gave up my day job in management to become a full time professional photographer.
I am an experienced wedding, christening, event, family, portrait, and party photography. I have also done some catalogue photography for a well known high street retail company.
I believe I offer an affordable service. Check out my services page.
A wedding is a special day whether it is in a castle with all the trimmings or in a registry office with a small reception afterwards. It is always about the emotion of the day and the people who are there to celebrate with you.
I hope you like what you see on my website. So please contact me if you would like to know more.
